This Tearaway embroidery backing is  medium-heavy weight and tears easily in two directions. Perfect as a stabilizer for woven fabrics and can be layered up where additional support during stitching is required.
Cotton tear embroidery backing, also referred to as Paper backing, is widely used and very economical.  Tearaway embroidery backing is a temporary stabilizer and is easily removed after your stitching is completed.
